Reducing taxes in itself is never a solution.
It's pointless until we reduce the size and scope of government.
That's the quintessential fraud of the Reagan years and so-called "supply side" economics. The goal was never to reduce the size of the govt - it was to create the so-called "supply side" to eventually INCREASE government revenue.
Through all of his double-talk during the 1980's, the only person who really ever breathed a word of truth about this (outside of the Austrian economists) was David Stockmann
