Put me on the list. Luck or skill - We made it to the top 5-6% of income (which is not all that much) . I give most of the credit to my parents who grew up during the depression and sacrificed so much that their kids could live a better life than they did. I also give credit to my wife of 53 years who always stood by me especially in the "poorer" part of " richer or poorer".

I certainly agree. We have 3 sons and 6 grandkids. I really don't see how they get by.
On the "REALLY" retire - Never, never, never. I haven't had a "day" job in 5 years so I can't use the "I have to go to work" excuse to avoid doing things that I really don't want to do.
