>>Maureen Dowd was one of HRC's strongest supporters.
>>Thanks to all the deviates who have been exposed, she's finally come to realize how base and vile HRC and her perverted husband are.

That's big of her now that they can no longer be brought down by the newfound morality her side wants to wield against enemies across the chasm. Does she not realize that people outside the bubble wall are unlikely to believe leopards can change their spots so effortlessly and always with such impeccable political timing?

FWIW, my Alabama buddies describe a groundswell that they are being subjected to orchestrated falsehood by fake news and DNC. I agree that much of what's gone on in 2017 is so transparent that numerous fair minded people who would have more doubts left to their own devices, are moved to support the likes of Trump and Moore because of the old principle that you can judge a person by their enemies.

Meanwhile as Sammie points out, lawyer Allred sits on news that a smoking gun yearbook confirming time and location of a sleazy message from Moore, had the time and location added by her client. The MSM screams fake news to call this forgery, but since the US legal definition of forgery includes altering existing documents in an attempt to deceive another person, I suspect that the video of presentations of the yearbook are going to be reviewed very closely. Allred need not think nobody has noticed her delay and likely reasons for it, during which her client (and presumably she) must have known that her client's "notes" had been attributed to Moore after representations they both made to that effect.

As per previous, the remaining accusation by the then-14-year-old is the one that always has worried me. Unfortunately the insistence that all accusers must be glued together in total credibility, is hurting her too. I hope she gets comfort and support from elsewhere, because WAPO orchestration and Altred-style behaviors have let Moore play the aggrieved party and climb aboard a moral high horse.

As for the hit piece about scoundrels: it relies on willful ignorance that Moore was highly respected and had it sewn up before these accusations were aired too late to allow the GOP or conservative voters any alternative. Alternative timing might well have seen Strange as the GOP candidate, but the good people of Alabama were left no choice.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
