>Of course it does. If you're voting for someone who is clearly an outspoken racist and/or homophobe then it would be obvious to question the person voting for them if they believe in what the person they're voting for stands for - I mean how could you not???

Victor, I'll acknowledge that Moore has made many controversial statements about gays. As someone who doesn't care one bit about orientation between consenting adults, I'm tired of (mainly) religious conservatives who push this (and also tired of the other side baiting non-homophobic religious types into false equivalency arguments).

However, I would like to see some examples that provide he's an outspoken racist. If you want to argue his voting positions, that's one thing. I would like to hear citations on actual statements that demonstrate he's an outspoken racist. Surely such a charge can be easily backed up for a few citations. Go.

>Bill has said how he THINKS this kind of attitude got the Ds in trouble in the first place -- I don't buy into it. Those that were not going to vote for HRC anyway.

Bill thinks it. JR thinks it. I certainly think it. The independents and certainly moderate Democrats think it.

>Lastly - your point is taken and I will chill.

Well, thanks, that's good. :)

There's nothing wrong with using emotion in an intellectual debate. There's something wrong with replacing a debate with emotion. Statements like "a vote for candidate XYZ endorses such-and-such" is something I'd expect from a college freshman incapable of critical thinking. I have friends who voted for HRC - despite my views on HRC, I don't equate their vote in itself with anything in particular.
