>Bill don't get so down. I'm sure both of us have seen worse days.
> I guess what I'm trying to say is that I try and start every day just being thankful that I have another day to try and do those things that I think are important. No matter how small the changes, I will not give up. It goes back to the old economic principle of "not many ways to make a million dollars but a million ways to make $1". Or, "not many ways to change a million minds but a million ways to change one mind". "They" haven't won until you quit trying so just keep trying.
>And Merry Christmas to you.

Sorry if I sounded down.
I'm not.
In fact - in the parlance of my GI days - I've got it pretty well knocked.

Reality is sometimes gruesome, but not seeing things as they are will eventually make them more gruesome.
We have been in an insane military buildup since 9/11 and instead of recognizing that we're going in the opposite direction.

The Koreans you mentioned build phones and TV's.
We build aircraft carriers and submarines.
Have you bought any aircraft carriers or submarines lately?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
