If you're referring to the hope that the college electors would rise up in disgust against Trump: not only did that not happen, but DNC electors tried to defect against HRC with a ratio of 8:2. DNC electors in Maine, Minnesota, and Colorado tried to defect from HRC, but were thwarted by state rules binding their vote to the statewide winner.
If you consider your judgment sufficiently superior that it should trump voting preferences of your fellow citizens, get yourself selected for the HI college and try to vote against the state outcome. Show us how it's supposed to be done.
