Under DOS I commandlined pkzip quite long (after pkarc...) but I wonder if it can handle newer stuff (size of files larger then back then)?
I either call a wrapper for zLib in vfp which is part of vfx or I commanline rar files. As Rick plugged 7zip, I must look into it again - have used it only for arriving 7z files
