On the scale of horrible "ist's" though, where does a whataboutist rank with a racist, misogynist, ageist, sexist, fascist or all the other "ist" slurs floating about today?
With all those magnificent slurs at this disposal tail gunner Joe McCarthy, who had to settle for the meager "communist", "socialist", or "pacificist" would have been ecstatic!
