I see what you're doing there... I'd probably handle it with a bound event (to react only if the delegating object is a combo), or a wrapper container around the combo and its wheel event (if it indeed has one).

Actually, the lack of wheel action on the combo hurts the end user so I don't care :), it's the VFP GUI where it hurts me. But after 20+ years with it, I kind of forgot that it should be possible.
