>>The question was "do you think Trump is a racist??"" If you want to jump in here then answer the question.

Sorry if you don't like my way of responding to questions. And I note you ignored my question - that surely you haven't bought into the concept that the HI emergency signal debacle is somehow a story about Trump rather than HI authority incompetence?!

In answer to your question: based on the MSM, undoubtedly he's a racist.

But IMHO the MSM is horribly biased when it comes to Trump. All editorials, paraphrases and opinions disguised as news, are suspect.

When you look at his actual words, I see either deliberate or inadvertent provocation. Maybe some of both. But not racism.

FWIW, did you see the ex-Navy seal commenting on his service in Haiti? He described expecting 100% casualties in his first operation there, not from enemy action but from the sea water through which he and his team had to swim, polluted by raw sewage from 2.5m people discharged straight into the ocean. He said he didn't know whether Trump called Haiti a sh*thole but that his own experience was exactly that.

If the time and energy wasted on furious overreaction to Trump were dedicated instead to protesting such dreadful sanitation and helping Haiti seek solutions, perhaps things might improve.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
