>>>So is Trump. But, he doesn't know what it means, yet he claims he's not a racist. He just wants more people from countries like Norway, not from Africa or Haiti. Would he qualify as a bigot? Would vulgarity in his hateful language make it worse?
>>>I'm surprised that people are all up in arms about the reaction on MSM, when it is Trump who makes the outrageous statements.

You asked whether TK made statements like Trump's, implying that that distinction was important to the discussion of racism.
If it's not relevant, OK.
Trump lives in an all-white enclave in Palm Beach.
So did Ted Kennedy.
I live in an all-white enclave in Hamilton, NJ.
While canvassing for Obama in 2008 I went to an all-black community in Hamilton and without exception, each person there enthusiastically supported Obama. I walked away with some fat checks.
On a visit to Palm Beach (at the lily-white enclave, The Breakers) during the 1970's I attended mass with the Kennedy's (all white- mostly Irish- faces in the church. I had an opportunity to shake Ted's hand on the way out)
Nobody died because there were mostly Irish Catholics in that church.
No one died because Trump is obnoxious.

People died, and are dying because of the war that HRC, Chuck Schumer and a lot of other polite people endorsed.

Dick Durbin, who expressed outrage at Trump's language, is one of the few democrats in the senate who opposed the Iraq slaughter, and deserves to be heard with respect.

Calling any country and by implication, its people, a shithole is pretty low, but as I've said before, no one has died because of it.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
