The actual news was Trump meeting the Kazakhstan president. The version presented on CNN and elsewhere is driven by Acosta breaching protocol to ask a loaded question that had nothing to do with Kazakhstan or the occasion. Acosta's poor behavior became the news, trumping what was actually happening at that event.
The reported fake news wherever you may look, is a brief mention that Trump was meeting Nazarbayev followed by extensive coverage of martyred Saint Acosta who only wanted to ask a questy-westy and got crucified by WH meanies!
