I wouldn't exactly call NR a conservative rag.

Andrew McCarthy is one of the most respected conservative journalists around. He's "called it down the line" regarding Trump.

Rich Lowry is also a journalist with some integrity. I don't like every NR writer but McCarthy and Lowry are generally very good.
