>>Did those same conservative family people vote for the racist pathological liar who cheated on his 3rd wife with a porn star while his wife was pregnant and was on an audio tape bragging about sexually assaulting women? I admit I'm somewhat baffled by conservatives and evangelicals who continue to stand behind this guy lol lol lol

>When you have a few spare months, read "Napoleon - A Life" by Andrew Roberts.
>By any measure you choose, Napoleon stands with Alexander, Charlemagne and Alfred the Great as one of the few people whose military accomplishments changed the course of human history.

I've never read that book - I checked openlibrary.org and sadly they don't have it avail yet but maybe I can check it from the local library. Appears to be almost 1,000 pages? mmm I read pretty fast but that will still take me a bit of time to get though if it takes any level of concentration to follow it. Did you read this one???

>Napoleon didn't lie - he didn't even pretend that what he said was true.
>When a plebiscite made him a victor by a million votes, he made it 2 million.
>Not satisfied with the enemy body count after his victory at Austerlitz - generally accepted as one of the greatest military feats in history- he tripled it.
>His philandering would have made even a degenerate like Bill Clinton envious- but Napoleon did it with panache!
>
>It's probable that when we wake up tomorrow, some part of our lives life will be affected by the Napoleonic Code- just one of the myriad conceits of that diminutive, flawed genius.

>For sure, Trump is no genius and no angel, but he has accomplished a lot more than most of the hacks pretending to represent us in government.

His political accomplishments are extremely limited. But one can't deny he makes a good TV personality ( in a P. T. Barnum sort of way) and that is something that he was able to tap into and it got him elected....and like P. T. Barnum he's a showman and a con man. Makes good T.V. and lots of ratings -- so it's good for the TV and news stations - not so good for the USA and rest of the world hahaha.
