Update:
I got the Gole1 unit a few days ago and I've been playing around a little bit with it. Here is what I've found out about it thus far.

First off - the Intel Cherry Trail Z8350 Quad-core processor performs a LOT better than I was expecting with 4gig of RAM.
It came with Windows 10 Home, so I've upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro, installed Office 365 2016 Business Professional, VFP9, SQL Server 2017 Developers Edition,, K-Lite Mega Codec pack, VLC Player, pgAdmin 4, and a slew of other apps I use including a bunch of them from the MS Store like NetFlix .... thus far everything seems to be working just fine. Took quite a while to do all that, especially the Windows updates as it came with a pretty old version of Windows 10 Home - did not have the Creators update.
It came with a MircoSD card slot -- interestingly there are some MicroSD cars it can NOT read -- I can use my ScanDisk Ultra 128mb XD 1 card just fine -- but it does not work with any of the ScanDisk Ultra Plus cards -- my research seems to point to a licensing issue that the manufacture doesn't have.
Being dual boot, it also came with Android 5.1. There is no way to upgrade the Android version, however I did install a few things on it like Google Hangouts and a few other apps. Again, all seems to be working just fine. Even made a phone call using Hangouts to test the speaker and mic -- all working.
I've tested all the USB ports and the LAN port -- all seem to work just fine.
Tried hooking up the HDMI to an external monitor -- that worked.
Connected a bluetooth mouse and foldable portable bluetooth keyboard -- all working.
Tried to play a 4k video over HDMI. I was expecting this to be choppy, but amazingly it played back perfectly!

Issues: So far the only thing I've run across is with the WiFi. I have several connections avail here, and although I can see our 5G connection, for some reason I can't connect to it. I haven't looked into this yet, I'm thinking that it's probably a driver issue. I might play around with that over the weekend. I know that if you boot to Android that no 5g avail by design - but it should be working under Windows boot.

Overall: For 150 bucks I think it was a great deal. The unit weighs a lot less than I thought it would - it weighs less than my Galaxy S8+. The build quality seems good and the metal housing seems solid. I've seen some pictures of the unit opened up, and one thing I might try to do is put in a more powerful battery - doesn't look like it would be that difficult and it would be nice to have a longer battery life than just 3 or 4 hours. Other thing is all these open ports on the thing - I'll want to find a way to cover those up as this thing will probably be spending time near sandy beaches and I don't want a bunch of sand getting in the unit. For the moment I will just put a piece of tape over all of them, but I'd like to have something less cheezy than that lol.

..so now the other thing I want for it is a tiny webcam that I can plug right into it. I'd like to find one that is just the camera and the usb jack ..one that doesn't have a cable. If anyone knows of something like that let me know :)

>On the bright side - it has 8 gig of RAM and 128 gig of disk space, quite a few ports and a really nice screen. On the other hand, I wish it had a sd card slot and a built in web-cam (but my Viliv S5 does not have those, so no loss there) -- and I kinda wish that keyboard was detachable and I don't think it has built in GPS either - but since the keyboard doesn't detach guess I don't care about the GPS. At 7 inches I guess it's tiny enough to put in a pocket - a big pocket anyway - but I do wish it was a little bit smaller.

This one has a lot of ports on it too which is good - but again no camera and no GPS and looks like the battery life is pretty short too. Arrggg!

>Anyone know a UMPC that's more along the lines of what I'm looking for? The power of the first one, in the size of the 2nd one, with a sd slot, camera, and gps? Or close to it that anyway??
