Having said what I just said, will also say that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was asleep at the wheel for a long time on this.

Elizabeth Warren and Sanders can rail all they want about Wells Fargo, but they didn't give the CFPB the same public tongue-lashing they gave Wells. As a matter of fact, neither Warren nor Sanders said a word about how long it took the CFPB to discover this and act.
