I have recently recompiled a funcioning 5.0 app into 6.0. On my personal development(win98) machine it runs fine, better than 5.0.

At a client's site on both win95 and 98 machines it continually hangs. No error messages, just a solid lock(no keyboard or mouse activity).

I have installed dcom98 on the local machines to no avail. The data is stored on a reletively new NT4.0 server

The hangs seem to occur during sql querries but very randomly. A query will run correctly any number of times before hanging. Debugging is very difficult because the lock is fatal, but other than a suspected relationship to queries I can't see a pattern. The hangs occur on any one of a dozen different forms.

6.0 seems to not like something in the environment but I don't know where to begin to look.
