>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I have shelves of technical books, dating back to 200?, some .NET, XML, and others. I don't think I will ever read or even use them as a reference (since I read mostly eBooks). Do you think it would be worthwhile to look for a book-donation bin? They used to have these in some places but lately I don't see them around where I live; although I could probably find one within 20 miles or so. Or, more practical would be just simply put these books in the paper recycling bin?

My brother and his family live up your way, and I've been stopping at this place on the way up and back for decades.
I got some excellent books there- all very old, of course.
The best was "The Implosion Conspiracy," Louis Nizer's account of his defense (unsuccessful) of the Rosenberg's.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
