Mark,

Why do you need to include it in the project at all? You can use ShellExecute() to just run it.

>I'm trying to include a VFP 3.0 executable (.EXE) into a new VFP 5.0 project so that the new .EXE can call the old .EXE. I've tried to "Add" the .EXE file and I went into "Project Info" and made sure that the "Included" check box is NOT checked. But I always get the error that the .EXE was "compiled in a previous version of Foxpro". Is there a way for me to have that .EXE called and not have it complain about it when I compile? I thought that maybe the EXTERNAL command would work, but I don't see an "APPLICATION" option for the EXTERNAL command.
