>>>Tsk... Creating a post under politics with my full name plus blaming me - will I be turned away if I want to enter the states again ;-)

>>Actually, I've had more problems re-entering the US than any other country else except one time in Korea. My boss and I were entering as "tourists" but he had agreed to hand carry a prototype LAW for the Army from HI to Korea. They had assured him that there would be uniformed US soldiers with the proper documents to meet us at the airport. They were not there. When the customs inspector opened one of his bags right on top was the LAW and underneath were battle dress uniforms (this was before the US Army had BDU's), topo maps of most of the area between Seoul and the DMZ and small model soldiers and tanks. One ring of the alarm and we were surrounded by about 10 ROK soldiers with loaded M16 rifles. I don't know if they had a round in the chamber or not but they were not smiling and had the rifles pointed directly at us so I was not inclined to ask them. I remember what must have been a first line supervisor (different colored coat) looking at Larry's passport (native Austrian, US passport) and asking "Mr. Rarry Rofrus, what you really do?". We tried to explain. After about 30 minutes another man showed up (different colored coat) and we went through the drill again. Finally "blue coat" showed and they all had a conference. "Blue Coat" turned to us, handed us our passports back and said " Enjoy your stay in Korea" and walked away. The soldiers got in a formation, did a right shoulder arms and marched off.
>>When we were leaving Korea he Army ask us to take the LAW to CO for them but we opted out.
