Yes. My son is a cyclist and he and his club ride the roads on each side - Pa and NJ.
To make thing interesting, the roads on the Pa side and the NJ side are both named River Road.
The NJ side is what you'd expect, but driving the Pa side is like riding the roller coaster at Coney Island.
Not for the faint of heart.
To make things even more interesting, there's the DNR (Delaware and Raritan) Canal that follows sections of the river.
The Canal was rendered commercially obsolete by railroads, but it and its tow paths have been named parks by both states and they are amazing attractions on their own.
In his autobiography, Benjamin Franklin tells how, after escaping as a young man by ship from indenture in Massachusetts and landing in Bayonne, NJ, he walked across the breadth of NJ to the banks of the Delaware at Burlington and hitched a ride on a rowboat to Philadelphia by promising to help with the rowing.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
