Yep^, just hammered the keyboard a hundred times (cancel or escape). The leak? Slightly over 2 MB on a W10 workstation.

It's a desktop app. In times when people use Electron to develop workstation apps, I should certainly forget about it. I am not writing a C++ system dll here! But
I just cannot accept memory leaks in this tight VFP applicaton. Foxpro is robust and efficient in this area in spite of its old age!

By the way the code forwarded by Tore is not leaking. But it takes a lot of care in the way parameters are passed. Possibly the issue in the code in _system.vcx.

Thanks again for pointing out the source. I clearly lost track as time passed. Thanks as well for the great contributions on your blog. I read them with a lot of interest:-)
