Right on the spot. I keep most of the stuff on the vbox's virtual network drive (which is actually the real old q: drive) as my "real" drive in the virtual machine is limited to 120G. When deciding what to copy, the .chm file was left on the outside. Copied to local, works - thanks for memory.refresh().
The ugly part is that, M$ being M$, it does not say "chm files don't work off network drives", it actually opens it, and then shows you the contents on the left, and then "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" on the right. Which is worse than saying nothing, it's actually negative information - with that message, I know less than without it.
