>>Hi Everyone.
>>
>>There are six new VFPX projects:
>>
>>- FastXTab (https://github.com/VFPX/FastXTab) is a replacement for VFPXTab.prg that creates cross-tab tables and cursors. This is an updated version of the class, originally created by Alexander Golovlev, by Vilhelm-Ion Praisach.
>>
>>- Win32API (https://github.com/VFPX/Win32API) provides documentation for calling hundreds of Win32API functions from VFP. This project was generously donated to VFPX by Anatoliy Mogylevets from its original source, news2news.com, which is no longer available. Tore Bleken converted the documentation into Markdown format.
>>
>>- Name Syntax Checker (https://bitbucket.org/atlopes/names) verifies the correctness and controls the translation of a string into a syntactically correct name of a particular domain (the name of VFP variables or fields, the name of XML elements, etc.). This and the rest of the projects are from António Lopes.
>>
>>- CalendarCalc (https://bitbucket.org/atlopes/calendar) provides a set of classes to perform specific calendrical processing tasks, help with internationalization, and build multicultural solutions.
>>
>>- CSVProcessor (https://bitbucket.org/atlopes/csv) extends VFP capabilities of CSV file handling.
>>
>>- XML Library Set (https://bitbucket.org/atlopes/xml) extends the VFP XML processing capabilities.
>>
>>It's great to see the VFP community continuing to provide features to our beloved development platform!

>Hi Doug,
>
>That great news. News2news was a great source. Is there any project which get WSDL address and create a class for use web services like in C# or other modern languages? I work with web services at X++ like in C# (not easy like in C#) that's great. If I'm not wrong wee need to create our own XML, send and parse returned XML for web services. This way is useless for complex web services like e-invoice services. I never used VFP for e-invoice services but if I need that I'm sure I'll be fail. These services are so so complex for manipulating XML files.

Quoting the docs in one of the projects Doug mentioned:

Ideas for the future

● SOAP client
● XML Schema to VFP Class
● ...

The XMLSampler is the first step in that direction. The same logic that applies to the sampling could be used to the class generator. It will require a lot of work and conceptual effort, though, and for the moment, as far as I'm concerned, it's just that, an idea for the future.
