I was around for the first Earth Day.
My office was on 5th Ave in NYC and I could look down at the parade.
The sight of John Lindsay- the current mayor- leading that parade, that tied up traffic for hours and sent tons of crap into the atmosphere is forever etched in mind as one of the most idiotic things a politician has ever done.
(George Bush, however, leads the parade of dimwits)
Let's not dwell on that.
Spring is here.
Soon we'll be seeing daffodils.
