I have recently discovered LLBLGen Pro (http://www.llblgen.com) and am very impressed with it.

It is a powerful and very solid ORM tool (object relational mapping) for use with .NET. Perhaps what attracted me the most is that it does not have too steep a learning curve. Just what the doctor ordered.

While finishing up what I am currently working on, I'm studying it and also trying to catch up in .NET. Found an interesting book for that: ASP.NET Core 2.0 MVC & Razor Pages for Beginners: How to Build a Website
