you are lucky to know this tool years ago.i discover it this last days only and i am glad to use it.its an exe and we dont know the methods used internally to do the job.
Everything.exe have size ~2.15 Moctets. On Vfp these can be done with 64 Koctets only.(26kO for the yrecursie.exe and 38 kO for the ysearch.exe i used).
of course everyThing have more options,index,.....its old and is not born the "last rain".its upggraded on too versions surely sitting on base light version and growing.

but vfp is still clever and i guess it can do the job even if its stopped 10 ans before and it looks like a 20th century soft.
