I don't use the identity field. Just grabbing at any ideas that could cause the problem. It's like the the new record is invisible. It sees all the converted data but not the new rec. My query is on the field nFileNo and the new record created has that field with the next number from my nextId routine. Seems to work perfectly but cannot retrieve the record. Frustrating!
