I wonder what percentage of shooting incidents are ended by armed citizens disabling or killing the suspect? Do you think it's over 1%?
Even if it was 100%, that wouldn't help the shooter's initial victims.
According to
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44256763 , there were 2 armed citizens. I for one shudder at:
- the possibility of other innocents caught in the crossfire
- the idea those citizens had firearms in their vehicles (if the story is true)
