>> 2 Shot At Louie's On Lake Hefner; Suspect Killed By Armed Citizen

>>100 witnesses - 1 armed citizen - 1 dead shooter

Agreed that if crims are carrying arms, a disarmed law-abiding citizenry becomes the flock to be fleeced.

BTW, I see that 23 are shot so far in Chicago and 4 dead as Memorial Day weekend kicked off. Despite this, it's good news for Chacago that despite 43 killed by firearm so far this month, firearm deaths for the year are down, with only 208 for the year so far compared to 256 at this time last year. No doubt the protestors are marching every weekend because this is more than all recent school shootings put together, except in a single town and victims black rather than white youth.

Also worth noting that on top of 43 killed by firearm in Chicago in May, another 34 were murdered by other means. Which tends to confirm the suggestion that where there's a will, there's a way. Explaining/addressing the will to kill others in Chicago and what sensibly might be done about it has value to all US society IMO. That's assuming that efforts for adult discussion aren't sabotaged:no doubt some will be unable to resist blaming Trump for the 208 killed while congratulating Obama for the 20% reduction since Trump took over.

Finally, I see there was a shooting from a moped in the UK this weekend. Nobody killed, but shots fired at a house from an almostly certainly illegal firearm. A cynic might express relief that they had access to a prohibited firearm so they weren't tempted to use a grenade.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
