It did, it's just a matter of definition. Yes, we were successfully punished with sanctions. Yes, we were successfully bombed. Yes, we were successfully cut off from most of the rest of the world (some moron in Vienna even turned off our Internet switch, even though that was not on the list).

Were any other goals achieved? Screw me if I know. Don't even know what they were, really.
