You mean when people are detained for criminal offenses, their kids don't go with them? That happens all over the world. The majority of incarcerated women in the US are single mothers who if this logic is to be believed, had their kids kidnapped from them by nazis. Except that nobody really believes that. Only in the US do people pretend it's a new behavior caused by Satan Trump.

If you really care about kids- stop 80% of them being "ripped" away from their parents on the other side of the border, to be used as get out of jail free cards for illegal border crossers not related to the kid. The current ranting seems designed to incentivize bringing a kid on a long and arduous trek so you can break US law and force your way in.

Meanwhile Trump inconveniently makes an executive order to keep families together... which is ignored until the next accusation against him can be scrabbled together. March! Blame! Hate!
