>>>if you want to buy a home as once was easily possible with one income, now you need two. But apparently that's all good, because you say it's a choice?

>>During the school year, the student parking of the local high school here in Hamilton, NJ is overflowing as are similar lots in high schools throughout NJ.
>>There are hundreds of millions of dollars - possibly billions- worth of cars sitting idle in those lots throughout the state. Someone decided that high school kids NEED cars.

Yes they are -- and often parents will by a kid a $600 junker so the kid can get around because both of the parents are working full time jobs because they have too.
Part of the problem here is that many of the old people (such as Bill) - do not understand the economic shift that has happened since they were young. First off it doesn't effect them as much as a huge part of their adult lives was lived when things where very different - and of course it happened slowly so it's harder for these people to detect. This is the same old crap I used to argue with whatshername out here -- it is NOT POSSIBLE for a young person to get a job and pay for college (let alone a family) and not have 100,000 bucks worth of non-forgivable debut at the ripe old age of 22. Her logic (or stupidity I guess) was that if she did it in 1968 then any kid should be able to do it in 2018 - the fact that pay is lower and expenses have skyrocketed doesn't seem to mean anything to some people I guess -- ya know NUMBERS. The other problem is that even knowing this problem exists, you still have people who will vote for someone like Trump who is clearly - beyond any doubt whatsoever - going to implement policies that make this problem worse.. Someone like Bill can vote for Trump and not give a rats ass because they're old and what happens to all the young people or the planet after they're gone -- well obviously they don't give a crap. Assuming Trump isn't impeached and runs again in 2020 -- snowflakes like Bill (and YES there ARE snowflakes on the right too) will vote for Trump because they didn't have a safe-space to admit they made a mistake voting for Trump and rather than man-up and admit the mistake, will act like a snowflake little baby tossing a fit and vote for Trump out of spite. Short sighted and stupid.
