I also wanted Japan to win against Belgium. I think they lost because they played with class what I call the "old style" football. Other teams play very physical and ugly football; stopping the opponent at all cost: kicking, pushing and complaining. And how the Japanese fans and the players cleaned after themselves (culture!) will hopefully become a model of behavior.
