This is beyond my control, though I could perhaps hack the DOM, but that would probably do no good, as there's a lot of navigation, reloading etc. I'm not sure that this hack would be feasible at all - and even if so, whether it would come too late (i.e. after many js errors) etc.

This is why I had that idea to try HKCU. Reading this article I had several truck-sized deja vus: I read this years ago. Of course, I memorized it for future use, and forgot to use my real memory (bookmarks in FF, where I have another five of your articles) but relied on my head alone. Well, we saw how that works :).
