I was watching a webinar produced by Vanguard on personal security. One of the things they mentioned several times was that when a person goes to the Vanguard site, you can see if you are in fact connected to the Vanguard site (and not a site that emulates Vanguard). The way you see it is that the address line at the top of the browser will show in green color. I just tried it (
www.vanguard.com). And on my IE 11, in fact, the address line is green and at the right corner it says "The Vanguard Group... Identified by COMODO Secure". When I enter this URL in my Chrome browser, none of it (no color, no message).
