>Hi,

>In my app when a user clicks into a textbox the backcolor of textbox changes to rgb(0,255,64) (which is kind of a bright green). This is done so that the user can see which field/textbox is selected. This feature has been working for many, many years.

>Now I myself find this color a bit too bright and it bothers my eyes. Could anyone - who experimented with this - recommend a "nice" backcolor for a text box? Something that would be make the textbox stand out and yet not too "sharp".

>UPDATE. I just tried the rgb(255,242,230) and it looks nice. I am still open to any suggestions.
dont change the backcolor but
change the textbox border color and change the order color to red when user enters an illegal value inclusive no value when a value is required.
