Hi

I need to find the best way I can do this fro testing.

I have a two table2 with 2million + rows.

The table 2 has a column that should have been loaded with numeric values.

table 1 has examples of these values and I want to take them and put them in table 2 .

The two tables have no common keys . they have GUIDs but they don't match . in the real world they will but in this example they don't.

Any ideas on quick a way to this . I've tried things like NEWID but that takes a very long time .

Any suggestions welcome
