Exactly because of the spaces in filenames. It may work for many years until you find a user who will install in a folder with a space somewhere in an upper folder, and then it will break.

Name expressions don't have that problem, so it's not just a good defense, it's also turning your line from something that will be compiled at runtime into something that's compiled (and syntax checked) at design time.
