ACA Systems is a UK based company supplying modular Business and Service Management software, primarily written in VFP9. We have been in this business for 25 years.

Currently, our programs use a VFP back end, accessed directly and via local views. We are seeking a highly experienced software developer to convert our VFP9 software to use an MS SQL back end.
You must have extensive proven experience with Microsoft Visual FoxPro up to v9 plus MS SQL (2010 and above).

We estimate the project will take around 6 months full time (part time is an option provided at least 20 hours a week are available). Once complete, an ongoing role is very possible. The work can be undertaken remotely, with occasional face to face meetings. The current long-serving developer is now semi-retired, but will be available for advice etc.
