are the underlying tables VFP Tables or remote views ?

If dbf maybe its a opportunistic locking / SMB2 problem ?
Maybe index is damaged pulling wrong data,

Can you check whether all data is pulled correctly , for example by adding a button for a simple browse .. readonly
Maybe grid shows wrong data (updateproblem (data is correct, try thisform.refresh())
