The truth is that all this was being claimed even before he was inaugurated. Chicken Littles competed for the most alarming predictions of how deep the economy would tank on his watch, Russian Collusion was a certainty, impeachment was imminent and all the other hysteria without any shame or even self-awareness as each predicted skyfall failed to eventuate. Can anybody still expect that sensible people should believe the sky will fall any second because the same people keep compiling massive dossiers of grievance that they insist proves it?

>>Meanwhile - you will deny the racism, the womanizing, all the laws that have been broken etc in an attempt to justify your vote. I guess anything is better than admitting the foolishness of such a decision?

All I attempt is a sense of proportion. If blacks are re-engaging in the economy and there's a start on trade deficits... well, what does it have to do with you even if he's the first president who ever was a womanizer? If laws are broken, then yours is a nation of laws and there will be an accounting. Meanwhile, maybe it matters more that black lives now matter in Chicago when they're getting back to work and aren't shooting each other quite as often... which also means cops aren't being called, so less police brutality, so less incentive to protest during the anthem?

Maybe spend a bit of time looking at the Ireland scenario where hatred and distrust reined, until growing prosperity pulled the citizenry into work and opportunity and prospects and suddenly the hatemongers had no fodder for their hatred. There's no doubt that prosperity lifts spirits, instills hope and brings community together. If Trump can keep delivering prosperity... maybe you need to learn to put aside the dossiers of grievance and celebrate that things are starting to go right for people. You remember people, right? Is it not good that 200,000 fellow citizens of your great nation gained jobs in the last quarter after they'd been having a few tough years? Though I suppose you'll prefer to attribute that to Obama or anything else apart from Trump.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
