In German the months have to be written with a capital letter, also the short versions. Here the abbreviations:

Januar = Jan
Februar = Feb
März = März
April = Apr
Mai = Mai
Juni = Jun
Juli = Jul
August = Aug
September = Sept
Oktober = Okt
November = Nov
Dezember = Dez

One comment About the Buttons (next month, previous month etc): To enable fast moving, add the click() event also in dblClick() event. Otherwise it feels like it hangs when you try clicking quickly through the months.
