>>Thursday Trump is going to fire Rod Rosenstein ...perfect time for him to do it - this way there can be come havoc and chaos going on as Brett Kavanaugh's accuser is speaking.
>>I really hope I'm wrong -- but this seems very Trumpish type of thing to happen.

So far all the noise is bubble noise. Rosenstein denies the MSM allegation, which will hardly be a novel concept for Trump. All Trump has said is that he's busy at the UN and will catch up with Rosenstein on Thursday. The rest is MSM speculation, conspiracy theories and calculated worst-possible-outcome mudslinging in the surety that some will stick. I think the problem is that while determined malcontents get caught up and enraged in the furore, too many US citizens are disquieted by this recurring swampy behavior. You simply cannot fool all the people all the time. The biggest risk for the Democrats is if the GOP starts telling voters that if they like tribalism and civic unrest and pots calling the kettle black, with thug's veto used to close down civic processes and debate, and women: if you admire Stalinist destruction of your sons, brothers and husbands by the mere accusation of impropriety...you need only vote Democrat. But if you want all citizens to have the opportunity to be productive members of society and if you are proud to be a US citizen and want your nation to prosper, vote GOP.

Mind you, I'm not convinced that the GOP has it in them. When Clinton was impeached by Congress, he was cleared by partisan Senate Democrats. Some of them are still there- including Schumer himself who found Clinton "not guilty", despite compelling evidence from formal Congressional process. But now Schumer gets away with treating unsubstantiated claims from 35 years ago as disqualifying blemishes against a nominee he boasted he would do whatever it takes to block. He could be shut down in one devastating broadside, but they let him get away with it, as does Fake News that would provide 24/7 coverage were it Grassley behaving like this. Maybe the GOP needs to take on board your theory that people are stupid and spell it out forthe benefit of those who don't spend all their days in the swamp.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
