>>While I can agree that Clinton was let off the hook -- I will strongly disagree any assertion that the dems are the ones with more moral problems than the GOP.

Who said the Dems are worse? Certainly they're the ones currently into vile smears and character assassinations that may appeal to bitter malcontents but are dismaying to the citizenry. Outside the 1%, few enjoy excess.

>>Look at the recent GOP scum -- you got them promoting child molesters for senators, they gave you a guy who brags about sexually assaulting women and cheats on this pregnant wife with a porn star as president - now you're about to get a guy who sexually attacks women as a supreme court justice.

Yes, Josef Stalin, they're guilty if unsubstantiated accusations pop up to suit your political cant. Guilty! Off to the Gulag!

Meanwhile where freedom and democracy prevails, you don't get to destroy somebody just by accusing them. There's something called "due process" that admittedly requires more thinking power than joining a lynch mob, but it's responsible for most of the freedom in this world and its absence is response for most of the lack of freedom too.

So here's an easy way to determine who's the enemy of civilization: start with the very famous and widely adopted Blackstone Ratio that "It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer". While Blackstone gets the credit, there's simiilar sentiment throughout history whenever civilization rose, and loss of it when civilization fell.

So if you insist on tribalism: which side at the moment repeatedly defies Blackstone's ratio while labeling their own behavior virtuous? Which side changes it to the Stalinist "if you're not with me, you are automatically guilty and it's obscene to think otherwise?

It is of course the Left. Including a certain poster in this very thread. The virtual lynch mobs are a huge problem in US society today.

Now just for clarity: I'm not saying any of your targets are innocent. I'm saying they're innocent until proven guilty. To which I'll add that you are parroting vicious Fake News about what Trump was recorded saying that you characterize as bragging about sexual assault. I challenge you to post an unedited, unparaphrased rendition of what he actually said, then connect it to your accusation.

Here, let me assist: unedited transcript:

Trump: Yeah, that’s her. With the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.

Bush: Whatever you want.

Trump: Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.

I'd direct your attention again, and again, and again, to the last 2 sentences of Trump's first staterment. Keep reviewing it until you understand why "when you're a star, they let you do it" doesn't connect to sexual assault as you allege. After that, pull up the whole *unedited* transcript and review the two reference to "hitting" on a woman and being rebuffed. Meaning he took "no" for an answer. I agree it's thr worst caricature of distasteful locker room talk, but it's not the crime you demand.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
