>>If you're talking about Kavanaugh, I agree, but at least one person on Victor's honor roll has served time.

And if Trump ever were to propose them for the Supreme Court or high office, I'll expect wide bipartisan dismay and consequences at voting time. Otherwise if they were found guilty, we're all in agreement- though the characteristically partisan list to try to smear all the GOP, is tiresome.

Meanwhile it's unreal that the likes of Schumer who cynically let Clinton off the hook despite undeniable physical evidence on Lewinsky's dress, is allowed to pose as a paragon of propriety as he tries to tear a man down based on smears, with the bizarre insistence that females never lie- except for all the inconvenient witnesses including accusers' best friends who claim it never happened, of course.

A contrarian approach: Schumer had already signaled that he won't just vote against Kavanaugh, he'll do whatever he can to block him. So no amount of investigation will alter Schumer's contribution to the outcome, and none of his demands are determinative. The only ones who matter, are the ones who are expected to vote Yes but who can change the otcome by changing their minds, unlike Schumer. And what do these other mostly GOP senators want, to satisfy themselves? We can't tell, because Fake News is too interested in the irrelevant loud mouths who already said they'll vote no.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
