>>A contrarian approach: Schumer had already signaled that he won't just vote against Kavanaugh, he'll do whatever he can to block him. So no amount of investigation will alter Schumer's contribution to the outcome, and none of his demands are determinative. The only ones who matter, are the ones who are expected to vote Yes but who can change the otcome by changing their minds, unlike Schumer. And what do these other mostly GOP senators want, to satisfy themselves? We can't tell, because Fake News is too interested in the irrelevant loud mouths who already said they'll vote no.

>Another contrarian approach.
>The outcome of the vote is irrelevant to 99.9% of the people in the country.
>Fake News people are concerned about how he might vote on Roe V. Wade.
>I, for one, couldn't care less about that. Neither I nor anyone I know plans to have an abortion.
>I also don't care who pees where, who marries whom (or what), who kneels of stands, or what cakes someone can or can't bake.
>I do care about someone's views on capital punishment and the rights of prisoners but I suspect we'll never hear those issues discussed.
The outcome is not irrelevant to 99.9% of the country -- for the first time in 40 years we will have a conservative court. Think about it -- Gore won the popular vote, Hillary won the popular vote, and the GOP stole Obama's pick. ...thus the court is not a true reflection of the people or represent the people either. The thinking of "I" "I" "I" "ME ME ME ME" is not the proper way to look at this - the court is for all Americans - not just you.
