I think you're relying on the lay definition of obstruction rather than the legal something, something I accept fake news has been promoting in their attacks on Trump. Do you know what "mens rea" is and since when is an FBI investigation an "official proceeding"? I know it sounds official in lay parlance, but it's a legal term.
