>>Again, I don't dismiss the Ford story completely. It has issues but I'm not convinced it's a lie. However, of the 3, that is the one where an "investigation" is just absurd, given the lack of facts or even accurate alleged timeline.

I have a problem with someone who says, "I ask myself this...why would anyone want to make this up?" I've never accepted the, "person XYZ has no reason to lie"....there can usually be a reason.

Now - I tend to believe her story more than his. And I've said many times I wouldn't vote for him. I thought Amy Coney Barrett was a better pick.

Consider this - many people on the left have said, "If Kavanaugh makes it to SCOTUS, he will kill millions of women. Millions of women will suffer and die".

If there are people saying this, certainly some will go to any lengths to stop it.

I remember a NY congresswoman about 10-15 years ago (and I wish I could find the quote) who once said that abortion always be legal, right up to the day before birth. She once told a rally, "If you're in the 8th month and you want to end the pregnancy, then lie....lie and say you were raped....it's your body, you should be able to" If an elected official for a major party will say that, then I absolutely believe others would lie as well

But again, I believe Ford's story in this case more than I believe Kavanaugh.
