However, Plato also posited some people- "philosopher kings" - who really knew what was going on.

The Bush V. Gore decision rendered the SC irrelevant to anyone who thinks seriously about these things. I'm not blaming the repubs - the dems also voted along strict party lines.
That decision put a dimwit who slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people in the White House . People are still dying as I type this because of what that dimwit did.
That's a bit more significant than whether Pete can or can't marry Joe, wouldn't you say?
